The Areca Palm, Chrysalidocarpus Lutescens or Dypsis Lutescens, is commonly known as bamboo palm or butterfly palm because of their leaves that curve outwards in a winged shape! Native to Madagascar, this palm features long thin leaves of densely clustered stems at the base, bringing a tropical feel to any home. This palm is also great at removing toxins from the air!

🌞 Bright indirect light is best for keeping this plant happy, but they can tolerate some shade.

💧 Water approximately weekly; these palms enjoy lightly moist soil during the growing season. During winter, allow the soil to dry a few inches down before re-watering.

🧼 Wipe down and mist the leaves to keep it flourishing! This palm loves humidity, so it will thrive best in a bathroom or kitchen.

🐾 This plant is also pet-friendly as it is non-toxic!
