ABOUT PLANT SHOP

Plant Shop Manchester began with a spontaneous, last-minute trip to Melbourne, Australia, back in 2016. Inspired by the city's incredible variety of nurseries, we returned home with a mission: to bring more green into Manchester. What started with just 100 mini cacti placed outside an office has since grown into our cozy brick-and-mortar store nestled in the heart of Stockport Old Town.

To us, houseplants are more than décor they're a lifestyle. We believe in the positive energy that greenery brings, whether it’s boosting your wellbeing, enhancing your interior space, or just adding a little joy to your day.

Our small, passionate team has always been happy to help customers find the perfect plant—whether it’s for a home, an office, or a thoughtful gift. And we’re here for the long haul too, offering aftercare advice to help your plants thrive.

After seven wonderful years in independent retail, we've made the difficult decision to close our beloved shop space and focus on the side of the business that has been truly flourishing—plant hire and staging. We now work fully on this side of Plant Shop Manchester, offering houseplant hire and styling for events, shoots, and spaces across the North West.
